Amy and Jon's Beautiful Fall Wedding Invitations

Months ago, Amy emailed me, asking if I'd help her with her wedding invitations. She lives in Ohio, so meeting up wasn't really an option, so we created her autumn wedding invitations together over email.

Amy and Jon's pocketfold invitations included the invitation, a timeline for their guests, and an insert card with their website information.

Congratulations, Amy and Jon!

Jennifer and Adam's Nautical Wedding Invitations

In no way have I been upset that the nautical theme is in this year.

Jennifer and Adam are having a lovely wedding up north on the water, so bringing in some nautical artwork fit perfectly.

The invitation suite included a pocket card that held directions/accommodations information, as well as their RSVP card.

Congratulations, Jennifer and Adam!

Susan and David's Motown Wedding Invitations

Let the 2015 parade of invitations continue. :) Oh, how I love Sue and David's Motown wedding invitations. Not only did we create a fun record wedding invitation, we also used the Detroit skyline for the RSVP.

The RSVP is my favorite. For accepts, the options are:

I'll Be There
Ain't No Mountain High Enough
Going to a Go-Go

And for the declines, the options are:

Tears of a Clown
It's a Shame
I Can't Get Next to You

Love it all.

Congratulations to Sue and David!

Lindsey and James's Simple Trellis Wedding Invitations

Working with Lindsey was a breeze. She wanted something simple for her mid-summer wedding, and I think we managed to come up with just that.

All this suite needed was the invitation and a sweet little RSVP postcard. The Envy (green) backing along with the Ecru card stock provided the perfect foundation to build on.

Congratulations to Lindsey and James!

Sara and Sean's Blue and Purple Wedding Invitations

Sara and Sean came to me a few months ago, wanting a nice, simple wedding invitation.

They told me that their wedding had a wine theme, but other than that, they let me play around with the design.

This is kind of vineyard-y, right?

I loved the subtle little touches of blue and purple that Sara and Sean wanted added in with the gray.

On the back of the invitation, we printed a simple reception/accommodations card.

Script font is Hiatus and block font is Foglihten Petitecaps.

Congratulations, Sara and Sean!

Katie and John's Formal Floral Wedding Invitations

I met with Katie and her mom months ago and Katie's taste was just elegant and formal and pretty

When I thought about how I wanted Katie and John's wedding invitations photographed, I knew it had to be paired with one thing - my Pottery Barn Emma plates. Because they're formal and elegant and pretty, too.

The floral backing is subtle but eye catching behind the invitations. We brought out the floral a little more in the RSVP card.

Fonts are Adios Script Pro and Trajan Pro.

Congratulations, Katie and John!

Sarah and Jeffrey's Blue and Green Wedding Invitations

Oh, how I love these sweet and simple invitations.

Sarah and Jeff wanted a casual, rustic feel to their wedding invitations.

The invitation and RSVP were printed on a textured card stock called Oatmeal. They kept things simple with all of the accommodation information listed right on the back of their invitation. The RSVP was a postcard, and the envelopes were kraft paper.

We used Bentham for the block font and Rouge Script for the script font.

Congratulations, Sarah and Jeff!

Colleen and Maxwell's Mint and Pink Gate Cards

Today I'm so excited to show you something I don't get to show very often - Envelopment's beautiful gate cards.  I'm an admirer of these gate cards, and Colleen and Max picked out one in mint, which makes it even better.

Here's what guests see when they pull these cards out of their envelopes.

And here's what they see when they open the card.

First, we have the invitation. I love that the invitation is backed with a dark green and gold, even though the rest of their colors are light. It adds a lot of depth to the invitation.

Colleen and Max wanted a formal feel to their invitations with a modern twist. We thought that the gate card took care of the modern twist, and the script fonts and beautiful papers showed off the formal side of their wedding.

Easily one of my favorite fonts of the year - Adios Script Pro - was used as the script font. Novencento  Wide was used for the block font.

The invitation came with two inserts - an RSVP card and a reception card.

Here are all three pieces together.

Loving these gate cards, loving the fonts, and loving that mint is still going strong as a color choice for weddings in 2014. :)
