Christmastime is here...

It's Christmastime, which means it's time for a Christmas related blog post. Please, hold your applause.

But first, I need to just openly admit that I've really been slacking in the blogging lately. I hopped on here the other day and realized that the last time I posted was for the Week of Thankfulness. In other words, last month. Fail.

Of course, there is a reason. I've realized that this is definitely when things pick up for wedding season. There are lots of engagements around the holidays and so I've been meeting with brides and starting to design a lot more (Am I complaining? Heck no).  So even though this little blog has been neglected, I'm not feeling too guilty about it because the business itself has definitely not been neglected. I can honestly say that I'm so excited for Wedding Season 2012!

But back to the Christmas related blog post.

My mother-in-law asked if I would do her Christmas card again this year, only this time she had a very clear vision. She really wanted to do her traditional Christmas letter (you know, the one where you tell everyone what the family is up to) in the shape of a Christmas tree. So that's what we did.

I think it turned out pretty well (though the perfectionist in me still sees some spots where the tree is not perfectly shaped...all of you other perfectionists already noticed, didn't you?? :) ). All in all, a nice little letter to catch everyone up on what our family did this year.

So now comes the blog catch-up. Later this week, I'll most likely be back with my own Christmas card, and then I'll share some individual Christmas cards I made for some special peeps, a Housewarming Party invite, and a Save the Date!

Merry Christmas!
