Erin's Wedding Extras - Maids and Men Cards and Wedding Itineraries

In addition to wedding invitations, Vivian Elle does quite a bit of wedding extras. You know - menus, programs, place cards, seating charts. The things that help your guests know what's going on at your wedding.

Well, months ago, Erin came to me because she wanted me to do a couple of wedding extras. I thought they were both pretty cute, so I thought I'd share them with you all.

First, Erin wanted me to do an itinerary to place in the welcome baskets for her guests.

But Erin also wanted some of these cute "Maids and Men" cards. I had never even heard of these before, and I thought they were a great idea.

I totally wish I had thought to do this for my own wedding!

Each bridesmaid and groomsmen were given a card, and the couple wrote sweet sentiments about each one.

They were inserted into frames and placed at the reception for guests to read.

Such a nice little way to make your wedding party feel special. :)

Sara and Sean's Blue and Purple Wedding Invitations

Sara and Sean came to me a few months ago, wanting a nice, simple wedding invitation.

They told me that their wedding had a wine theme, but other than that, they let me play around with the design.

This is kind of vineyard-y, right?

I loved the subtle little touches of blue and purple that Sara and Sean wanted added in with the gray.

On the back of the invitation, we printed a simple reception/accommodations card.

Congratulations, Sara and Sean!

Jennifer and Lonnie's Casino Themed Wedding Pocket Cards

Jen came to me months ago and we sat down and chatted about her upcoming wedding. I remember so well that her excitement was infectious.

She had such big, fun plans for her wedding to her sweetheart, Lonnie. She was doing a casino theme, which I thought was so fun.

I loved Jen's fun wording for the RSVP cards. :)

Fonts are Jacoba Bold and Althelas.

Congratulations, Jen and Lonnie!

Tiffany's Kentucky Derby Bridal Shower Invitations

Katie came to me a few months ago because she was throwing a shower for a friend.  She wanted to do a Kentucky Derby theme and wanted the shower invitations to be modern and girly.

Fonts are Caviar DreamsMardian Demo, and Currency Regular.

I love the small pop of pink Katie wanted to add in the name.

Katie was so much fun to work with - Tiffany picked a great bridesmaid! :)

Katie and Daniel's Purple and Mint Wedding Invitations

These invitations are fancy. You already know.

Katie and Daniel met with me months ago and they decided that they'd like elegant, simple wedding invitations.

But even though these invitations were simple, they still had a few little "pops" in there.

Like these envelope labels that make the envelopes stand out in any mailbox.

Or the swirls that make the invitation so very fancy.

Fonts are Trajan Pro (block) and Allegro (script).

The address labels wrap around to the back of the envelope to make a little return address tag.

Congratulations, Daniel and Katie!

Amy and Mike's Baby Announcements

My best friend, Amy, and her husband, Mike, had a baby boy.  And he is just too delightful for words.

There's just something about this little guy that is so wonderfully perfect that I actually thought for the first time when I was holding him this past weekend that maybe I finally understand what it means to have baby fever.

And then I made the mistake of telling my mom this and she was so excited she posted it on Facebook. :/ :/

(My mom wants herself some grand babies.)

But my feelings towards babies will need to take a back seat because right now it is so much fun seeing my best friend and her husband so incredibly happy with their new addition.

So when Amy came to me to have some baby announcements made up for her new little son, I gladly obliged.  Because it's clear that when you have a baby this cute, you should declare every little inch of him to the world.

We used Learning Curve Pro to tell the world that Timmy entered it and that all of his features are perfect.

A million congratulations to Amy and Mike!

Jennifer and Justin's Fall Wedding Invitations

One of the great things about having this business is getting reconnected with friends from long ago. Like Jenny.

Jenny came to me several months ago to help with her wedding invitations. We went to high school together a couple of years ago.*

*exaggeration. it's been almost 15 years.  :/

Jenny and her fiancé, Justin, were getting married in the fall. In a barn. Perfection.

She wanted an invitation with a wood background and some mason jars and coral accents.

I think it came out pretty nice, don't you??

Script font is Rouge Script. Block font is Foglihten.

The accommodations/directions info was on the back of the invitation and the suite was completed with a little RSVP card.

Congratulations, Jenny and Justin!
