Lisa and David's Bright Floral Shower Invitations

Today I have a bright and cheery shower invitation that serves to remind you that spring is just around the corner (hopefully).

Lisa came to me a few months ago to design some shower invitations for her bridal shower. She sent me some inspiration she had collected and I soon realized that Lisa and I had very similar taste. So basically, I designed something that I would like. :) Luckily, Lisa was a fan, too.

Fonts are Bentham (block font), Melany Lane (script font), and NeoRetro Fill (font in the banner).

I'm certainly glad Lisa and I have the same taste. That always makes my job a little easier. :)

Congratulations to Lisa and David!

Trish and Dave's Thank You Cards

Last November, Trish got married to Dave. I designed her shower invitations, her save the dates, her wedding invitations, and also, her wedding extras which have yet to be shown on this blog, but will be soon. :)

And after all of this, Trish had me do some thank you cards for them to send out to their guests, using one of their beautiful wedding photos.

These were like a postcard. The backs were just a blank gold color so they could write a thank you note.

I loved Trish and Dave's vintage style. We used it throughout each piece, ending with some touches of vintage glam on these thank you notes.

If you love vintage pieces as much as Trish, be sure to check out her Etsy shop, Kitty Haw Vintage!

Ashley and Michael's Mackinac Island Pocket Fold Wedding Invitations

This invitation holds a special place in my heart. Probably because I love Michigan, and couples who incorporate anything Michigan related into their wedding invitations.

Here are Ashley and Michael's Mackinac Island Pocket Folds.

Ashley and Michael wanted to add a Mackinac Island touch to their wedding invitations, since they're getting married on Mackinac this summer. We decided to add a picture of Round Island Light on the invitation, which was created in Illustrator.

They chose a beautiful kraft card stock for their pocketfold, and balanced it out with metallic papers.

Pretty Please RSVP. :)

A beautiful invitation for such an incredibly sweet couple. :)

I couldn't be more excited with the invitations I've worked on so far this year. The couples I work with have the most amazing, unique tastes and I love seeing their personalities come to life in their invitations.

More to come next week!

Psst - the Novi Bridal Expo is this weekend, February 15 and 16. We'll be there from 12-5 each day. Come on out and say hi!

Hollie and William's Pink and Mint Gate Cards

So, I'm participating in the Novi Bridal Expo next weekend. Because of this, a large portion of my time has been taken up preparing for that (it's my first bridal show!). So, will you forgive me for the lack of writing that has been in my blog posts lately? I'm convinced that people just want to see a pretty invitation, so that's what I'm gonna give you today. I want to cry because I love Hollie and William's invitation so much.

I've been doing more and more gate cards lately.

You know, cards that open up like this.

And here's the really exciting part - these gate cards contain a very special new font.

Ladies and gentlemen (do any gentlemen even read this blog?), I present to you my new script font, Bombshell Pro.

It is such a sweet font - perfect in light pink.

The block font is Neo Retro Fill (also new AND free :)).

So, there you have it. Hollie and William's pink and mint gate card. This invite, along with so many more, will  be on display at the Novi Bridal Expo next Saturday and Sunday (the PERFECT V-Day date :)). Stop by and see us!
