Laura and Scott's Formal Black and White Wedding Invitations

Laura and Scott have a classic, elegant taste. Their colors were black and white and when we met together they said that they knew they wanted to use a double infinity in their design somewhere.

We used it very subtly in the invitation and the RSVP card. Then we added in the Michigan silhouette (you know I love a wedding invitation that uses Michigan in it) with a little heart where their wedding was to be held.

Fonts were Rouge Script and Optimus Princeps.

I was completely taken with the elegant black envelopes with the white label to complete them.

See what I mean...

Classic elegance.

Congratulations, Scott and Laura!

Amy's Owl Baby Shower Invitations

My best friend, Amy, had a baby a few weeks ago. And oh my goodness is he cute.

A few months ago, Amy's mom and sister got together to plan the baby shower for the soon-to-be addition to their family, and they called me to do some invitations.

As I looked on Amy's Pinterest page for inspiration, I noticed that she had an owl theme going for her new little boy's room. So naturally, I went with that.

I thought the tag look was cute and different.

Fonts are Gelato Script and Cavier Dreams.

Oh, man. I could go on and on about how excited I am for this brand new addition. So much joy. Congratulations to Amy and Mike, and their beautiful new little guy!

Tara and Scott's Pink and White Motorcycle Invitations

I will always remember Tara and Scott's wedding pocket cards, mostly because when I asked them at our first meeting to describe their wedding, Tara said, "pink, white, and motorcycles." I loved their wedding immediately.

Tara and Scott chose a light gray pocket card invitation and added in pops of pink throughout the suite.

We used a new script font for this invitation: Arizonia. We also used Novecento Wide for the block font.

The pocket held one insert (with ceremony/reception/accommodations and a few other notes on it) and an RSVP.

I loved the RSVP choices:

Yes, looking forward to the ride!
No, the bike is down, can't make it!

Congratulations, Tara and Scott!

Marissa and Joseph's Hot Pink and Navy Wedding Invitations

Hot pink and navy. Classic color combo here.

Marissa knew one thing about her wedding - she wanted hot pink in there. But she also had a fiancé to consider (who, like many men, isn't so much about the hot pink). So she tried to tone it down a little bit.

I thought she did a great job, actually. The navy perfectly balances out the hot pink.

We used Brock Script and Optimus Princeps for the fonts.

The navy pocket envelopes were wrapped with a shimmery white label.

We used a map and QR codes for the direction insert. Ceremony, Reception, Accommodations, and website information were all on the other side of the insert.

We wrapped everything up nicely with a band and Marissa and Joe's monogram.

Congratulations, Marissa and Joseph!

Hannah and Seth's Pink and Blue Chevron Wedding Invitations

Check out these fun invites. May chevron live on! (Fist in the air while saying this, obviously.)

I met with Hannah and her mom several months ago now and Hannah decided she wanted a fun chevron pocket card invitation.

In case you haven't seen one of these, a pocket card has the invitation on the front, and holds any insert cards in the pocket on the back.

Fonts are Allura (script font) and Novecento Wide (block font).

A reception card and RSVP card rounded out the invitation suite.

Congratulations, Hannah and Seth!

Dana and Jamie's Elegant Pocket Card Invitations

Dana is a sweet bride who came to me earlier this year to talk about her and her fiancĂ©'s elegant, romantic military wedding.

Dana and Jamie chose a pocket card invitation for their wedding suite. The invitation is on the front; the pocket in the back holds the insert and the RSVP.

The script font is Medusa.  I love the name, and I love that font. Just look at those swirls.

The block font is Bodoni SvtyTwo.

One thing I love about these invitations is the pop of sparkle we added behind it.

The insert and RSVP tucked so nicely into the pocket.

Congratulations, Dana and Jamie!

Jeannette and Casen's Pink and Gray Wedding Invitations

YOU ALL. I am thrilled to be sharing this blog post with you today.

A few weeks ago, I met with Casey, from Casey and her Camera. I hauled a bunch of wedding invitation suites to her house and we spent a few hours setting them up in fun ways and snapping photos of them. Well, I mostly did the setting up. She did the snapping photos part.

This past weekend, Casey sent me the finished images. And I was so overly ecstatic about them that I looked at them about 4,000 times throughout the weekend.

So I now begin a series of blog posts where I don't post and then semi-cringe because I know I can't take photos. I start doing justice to my brides and grooms and their individual unique tastes by showcasing their invitations in the best way possible.

Starting today with Jeannette and Casen's wedding invitations.

Jeannette and Casen's wedding has a really sweet, romantic style to it. Jeannette wanted to keep things simple, but elegant.

Jeannette initially wanted a floral design on their invitations, but we eventually decided on just using leaves.

Fonts are Currency Regular, Allegro, and Antipasto.

The pocket envelopes are one of my favorite things about this suite. They are sturdy and sure to stand out in your guests' mailboxes.

Congratulations, Jeannette and Casen!
